Linux loads very low speed
I have installed Slackware Linux, on my laptop. It is almost compatible with laptop. But there is a small problem.<br/>Loading the kernel takes much time about 30 sec. I mean when it shows the:

Add the 'compact' option to your '/etc/lilo.conf' then run lilo as root to update; Quote:
