linux boot
hi, i just downloaded the slackware iso and installed it on one box, i tried to installed it in a other box which supports boot from cdrom and say's cd not found, i changed the cdrom and the same thing came up, i tried windows xp cd and it boot normallY...
anybody know whats wrong ? or maybe a solution? thanks in advanced |
Did you install it via CD (ie boot from CD) on the first box or did you use a bootdisk?

yeah, i installed it via cd, i didn't use a bootdistk

Try burning another copy of the ISO (hopefully you have it still) and try again? Sometimes little quirks like this happen with computers.
Also, try the original CD in your first machine and see if it boots up into the Slack install |
