Linux 2.6.9 slack pack and Lilo


I recently installed all necessary packages in the /testing dir for the 2.6.9 kernel, and now my lilo will not load slackware. i dont need an initrd (or so it says) b/c i am using an ext2 filesystem with IDE settings. My ? is what needs to be put in the lilo.conf to load up slack? and what paramaters do i pass to the Boot CD to load my slackware? i.e

follow the on-screen instructions to boot your sys. from cd.
