Limit speed for slackpkg

Hi,
I want to limit slackpkg download speed.

In slackpkg.conf:

If I change this:
# Special options for wget (default is WGETFLAGS="--passive-ftp")
WGETFLAGS=" --passive-ftp"

To this:
# Special options for wget (default is WGETFLAGS="--passive-ftp")
WGETFLAGS=" --limit-rate=100k --passive-ftp"

Will it limit slackpkg download speed?
Or;
What would be the correct way to do it?

slackpkg is basically a front-end for tools like wget and the Slackware package management applications, so adjusting that parameter changes the command slackpkg will pass to the wget program.

So the edit you mentioned would limit slackpkg's wget use to 100KBps.
