limewire for Linux, other

Hey what happened to the release for Linux, other?:
http://www.limewire.com/download/releases/

They used to have a download with a packaged script. I didn't have to do or understand anything. I just downloaded and ran the script and LimeWire worked. Now only Debian version is there.

Oh cool. Thanks. I wonder why LimeWire ditched their Linux release. That was a handy little program. Oh wait Frostwire is also only for Debian. I guess there's a way to get either program to run on other distros.

You can get Frostwire from SlackBuilds.org
http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13...ork/frostwire/

Limewire is also on Slackbuilds, but the download link seems to be dead.
I guess they removed LimeWireOther.zip and only have a deb package now.

If you e-mail the maintainer of the SlackBuild, he can probably update it to repackage the deb

FYI, I'm using Frostwire on my Debian, Arch and Slackware machines. And I'm pretty sure that other distros have their own means to get it working too.

Well if Frostwire is on Slackbuilds then problem solved. Why do I always forget to check there. LimeWire is defunct then check Slackbuilds.com for p2p clients. Duh.

I saw a tarball on the Frostwire site, not just a deb package.
