lilo splash

Has anyone managed to get a graphical boot splash working on slackware 9? By default slackware doesn't install boot-bmp.b into the /boot directory. I downloaded another lilo package and the file wasn't in the tar.gz.

Am I missing something?

Exclamation More than Graphical lilo boot

I've installed a Graphical lilo that is animated... Much better than simple graphical ones....!
Go there:

And I also installed BootSplash:
Which put a graphical Linux boot-up/shutdown screen!!! (With tailor-made progress-bar!)

Now my Slackware system is comparable to any "USER FRIENDLY" Linux Distros...
