LILO + Kernel2.6

Ok has anyone had problems with LILO and Slackware9.1 with the new Kernel2.6? I compiled it fine and I get no errors. How ever when I set it up in lilo to use the new kernel I get Kernel panic errors about unable to find root fs on hda2. Which makes no sense since I have lilo booting kernel 2.4.22 with the root set to /dev/hda2. Am I suppose to use some different way in LILO since I am using image=/boot/bzImage-2.6.0?

Thanks!

well this is nothing at all to do with lilo, you have probably not included the right file systems in your kernel image or similar...

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
