Angry Lilo doesnt support higher display res


Hey, I am using slack 10 and my lilo does not support higher resolutions. I am using a NVIDIA FX5200 videocard.

How did you reach this conclusion? Did it give you any errors during booting where you have to choose the correct vga value?

Did you set a different vga value in /etc/lilo.conf ?

Do you have framebuffer enabled?

If you're talking about the graphical boot menu for LILO, no, it doesn't support anything higher than 640x480x256.

i am not sure if framebuffer is enabled.

yes, there is an error message at boot which says that i must choose a correct vga value.. I have just installed the new video card, then the error message appeared.
