lilo.conf and Windows XP dual boot

I have installed slackware 12 with win xp on another hard drive. After installing everything works perfect and I can use both systems. After a change to the lilo.conf file and running lilo the windows xp system does not boot, it just start and shows windows loading after selecting windows on the boot screen and there it stops. Any idea what went wrong?

looks ok to me.
if it is starting to load (getting past the bootloader) and then dying it might be that windows is broke.

you could try booting from the xp disc and then run the 'mbrfix' app. (this will restore the usual 'windows' mbr record) and see if windows will boot then. if it does, then pop lilo back on (boot from your linux cd and reinstall).

Found my problem. Had to uncomment the map portions of the windows section. Seems to solve my problem.

Sometimes we also have to add:

boot-as=0x80

in the windows section.
