lilo's bios check too slow
I have a laptop with an Athlonxp 2.0 ghz and 512 mb ram
I use lilo.
when i select the partition to boot bios check is too slow.
I mean, when appears: "loading slackware......." it takes so long time
I also have a slower and older pc (celeron 500 and 128 ram) but the bios check is definitely faster....
actually i'm using the "compact" boot and the problem is solved but.... I dont know why it's happening.....
