Claws-mail with plugins

Seamonkey hard to beat.

Yet you replied without even bothering to read earlier replies. The thread is not even two pages long.

Seamonkey is basically Thunderbird plus more stuff, so it's even heavier on resources. And it's a client.

Claws-Mail was covered by my earlier post.

umm no. I said I did not realize how old the thread was not that I did not read it.

Seamonkey was mentioned because the OP also uses Firefox, so a natural solution could be Seamonkey which makes it lighter than other options.
