Question libshout 'tls.c' errors installing VLC

I got libshout 2.3.1 from slackbuilds. It took a while to get this far into the process. I'm about to depart for work so hopefully, someone has something resembling a solution when I get home.

I'm using Alien's slackbuild for VLC, by the way. I appreciate any help I can get!

Needed for version vlc-3.0.12
libshout-2.4.1.tar.gz

You can also try with the latest version :
https://downloads.xiph.org/releases/...t-2.4.5.tar.gz

https://slackware.uk/people/alien/re...lds/vlc/build/
