Thanks, this one solved my problem.

Thanks again,

This happens whenever current upgrades boost to a new version. Alien Bob's libreoffice package is linked against the version of boost current at build time, which in this case, was before boost upgraded to boost-1.75.0. `ldd /usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin` reveals libreoffice-7.0.3 requires boost-1.74. Alien Bob is very busy, but will, no doubt, soon build a new libreoffice package against boost-1.75.0. Until then, koffice presents itself.

I think I only told a dozen times last month: install boost-compat.

LibreOffice drops the VLC backend (aka, The Christmas Grinch Struck at The Document Foundation).

Remove vlc part since experimental since 5 years
However considering git history about vlc part (see
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreof...?qt=grep&q=vlc) it seems
there's no real patch since 2013 + it's been explicitely indicated as
experimental since 2015
See http://document-foundation-mail-arch...tt4293282.html

Of course if someone wants to keep on the work on it, it's always possible to revert the patch.

Slackware64-current full install, today updated & upgraded.
Libreoffice-7.1.3-x86_64-1alien + ..kde-integration.. installed (Community version)

Libreoffice runs fine when logged as root.
When I log in as other user with admin rights, "application error" is generated (run from terminal) and initial startup window vanish. No error/warninig is logged in any file in /var/log.
