Libreoffice fails to start after latest updates

Running up-to-date slackware-current on a few machines here, I'm getting the error below when launching libreoffice from a console. I'm using the latest libreoffice package (libreoffice-5.0.3-x86_64-1alien.txz from Alien Bob's repo) but the same error started occurring in a 32bit VM running -current and the 5.0.2 package right after updating that VM to the latest slackware-current. I tried sym linking to libicuuc.so.56 but then got another library error.
Code:

javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx
/usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libicuuc.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

similar error in a 32bit VM:
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libicuuc.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

LibreOffice needs a recompile.
I have already done that for the 64bit package, and the 32bit package just started its compilation. That takes roughly 14 hours on my server, so expect new libreoffice 5.0.3 packages tomorrow.
