Slackware-14.0 with Xfce desktop environment

I just upgraded to LibreOffice 4.1.1 (from 4.0.4) and this really weird thing is happening. If I open Writer, Calc, or Draw (for example), then grow the window by dragging any corner except the lower right, then the window resizes, but LibreOffice does not resize and redraw properly within the window. I get this void on one or more sides within the window, or the LibreOffice menu bar falls off the top, or some other weirdness. Dragging the lower right corner is fine, but the other 3 corners mess it up.

Anyone else see this?

F19/Cinnamon. No problems noted with 4.1.1. I only tried writer but drags from all 4 corners work fine.

I have now seen 2 other reports of this problem, one Xfce like me (but older), one unknown, so it might be related to Xfce.

I'm still using version 4.0.4, but there is another version of 4.0x, 4.0.5.
Did you try that one? This problem with 4.1.1 can be a bug.

F19 - Fedora 19
Cinnamon desktop environment. Similar to Xfce

Confirmed same problem with Libreoffice-4.1.1 on Xubuntu-12.04 with Xfce-4.8.6. So it isn't Slackware specific. Based on another report elsewhere, this does seem to be happening only with Xfce.

Oops, found the problem. My fault. I skipped (did not install) the two sub-packages "kde-integration" and "gnome-integration", thinking - I don't use KDE, or Gnome, so why do I need these? (I've always removed other sub-packages, like unwanted extensions...)

Bad idea. Removing the gnome-integration subpackage causes this error when resizing windows. I put it back, and everything works fine now.
