kaydara,

We need more information than you have provided before we can help you. You have provided the output of dmseg and /var/log/messages, which is a good start; however it didn't cover all the bases.

:twocents:The esteemed egag asked a valid question, which was ignored in spite of being the only quesion asked. At least acknowledge that someone was willing to help, and if you don't know the answer, say so or ask for clarification. IMHO, ignoring the people who are willing to help will only lead to people who are unwilling to help. The people here are absolutely awesome, but they can't help us if we won't let them! Here endeth the lesson according to the world's foremost idiot. :D

I'm wondering which kernel you're using, and if it's vanilla or custom. If it's a custom 2.6.x, check and make sure that you compiled in the "Lexar jumpshot flash reader" options under "USB services." I'm not sure what the options are under 2.4.29.

Good Luck!

Rik

this is a hard time for me, exams on university, and i have been out the laptop for many time eheheheh
yes i apreciate the help, and i dont ignore it, the fdisk -l show only my splited HD.
I have a 2.6.11.11 custom kernel and the option is built-in, this isnt the first time i try to mount this "thing" but i think that this is so old ( have it for many many time ) that i havent support for it, trying to find others opinions in net but nothing.

so i apreciate all help but i think i will buy a new one and send this to china ;)

I just remembered something-- My Lexar Jumpshot suddenly quit working for no readily apparent reason last month (I now use a card reader built into my printer--The card reader works fine, but the printer/scanner itself is still doing a very convincing imitation of a paperweight; but making it work hasn't been a priority either.). Perhaps yours has also joined "the choir invisible?"

Good luck with your exams!
