Wink learning a foreign language using linux

I was wondering how I would go about configuring linux, such that when I logon as a certain user, everything is in a different language, such as spanish.

I though this would be a good way to learn a language, I would be using the desktop everyday, so I suppose I would get some practice.

My desktops are kde and gnome.

OK, I know it will be a bit limited, in terms of learning conversational skills. I know that I will not be able to chat up a girls from another country by the limited vocab of what is in gnome or kde, but hey its a start. I suppose I could learn, " Hey, I know how to push your start button !" ;-)

Any ideas ?

Well, the language of KDE is easy to change into just about anything (ie. from the control-center) , but the CLI?
Umm, what do you say guys? All I have to say is :

"Ich kann nicht gut Deutch sprechen, aber ich brauche nicht gut Deutch sprechen.."

Re: Learning Foreign Language w/Linux

Why not use Linux to locate and order a Spanish Language CD and go from there. Assuming you're normal, get a Spanish girl friend and restrict your conversations to Spanish. Works very fast depending on the individual and motivation.
