latest Handbrake with libdvdcss ?

Hi All,
in the latest Eric's repository for handbrake (0.10.5-1) build I can see that libdvdcss is not anymore in use:
http://slackware.uk/people/alien/res...ndbrake/build/

Question:
is that because libdvdcss is some how now illegal or because it is replaced with something else ?

Libdvdcss was never included in the package, you can install it as a separate package.

Libdvdcss hasn't been officially legal ever, which is why it's never been built-in with projects made for distribution.

Well, libdvdcss is illegal in the USA and, therefore, any distro based in that country will not ship it.

If you download and build things yourself for your own purpose then it's kinda left in a weird grey area. Just don't redistribute the package or the unforeseen might occur.
