kwrite not printing

I have been using Slackware 13.37 and for some time now I have been unable to print using kwrite... When I print from kwrite it only prints the footer and the header but not the txt...

I can print just fine with everything else....

Any ideas?

TIA!

Does printing work normally with other text editors like Mousepad or LibreOffice Writer?

Works fine here - Slackware64 13.37 multilib. Did you try running it from the CLI to see if there are any errors, etc.? When you select File-Print does the dialog display your CUPS printer or display something like generic or default?

I'd also check and see if the KDE Printer utility has the printer driver loaded and the printer listed in the settings.

Have you checked Settings -> Configure Editor -> Fonts & Colors -> Schema: kwrite-printing for Font and Normal Text Style color?

On my setup I have the font set as Monospace and the color as black.
You could also try renaming ~/.kde/share/config/kwriterc and restarting, in case some corruption has occurred in that file.
