my locale is zh_CN.UTF-8
i ask other man ,them same case ..

my /etc/profile.d/lang.sh content is:

and other lines are first world with #

After entering into kwrite. Edit documents, and preservation of documents, English file names, it is possible.
However, the file name in the chinese words and right point to open with kwrite, then heading on kwrite garbled, the content of the document will not show up right

Nice to meet you here as my LC_ALL is zh_CN.UTF-8 too

As far as I can see, kwrite don't detect the file encoding according to LC_*. As a compromise, you can go to “工具”》“编码” to chose the file encoding manually. I think it's a weakness of kwrite and will be fixed in the future release.

Hmm, I see. Perhaps this is a bug in the combination of KDE4.2.1 and Qt4.5. We are in current, so bugs may appear here and there. Just wait for the update
