Konqueror keeps starting with morning boot

Each time I have booted (or rebooted after some kind of install) my computer in the last several days, Konqueror has started with the boot. Each time, I close Konqueror and don't touch it the rest of the day (I don't normally use it for anything. I started it once a few days ago to compare a website with FF) and then I boot the next day and Konqueror opens with everything else that I had left open when I shut down the night before. I don't have any special start up scripts that I know of, so Konqueror isn't part of any kind of special environment I've set up. What should I look at to figure out why Konqeror keeps starting with computer?

I'm on -current.

If you open konsole, type ps aux | grep konqueror

Guessing you'll see a long list of QtWebEngineProcess related stuff...

IF you do, type killall konqueror
See if that helps upon next reboot/start-up

You can check your KDE session :

Settings / start & stop / Desktop session / During the connection

I have : start with a blank session
Other option : restore saved session

or something like that (my settings are in french :D )

How about maybe you have to clear your saved sessions and remove the check mark on your session logout. This works for XFCE and also KDE anyway.

EDIT - marav beat me to it

Thanks for the replies, everyone. MDKDIO was right about there being a bunch of QtWebEngineProcesses in ps. I will kill those and also change the settings in the Desktop session and see what that does and report back tomorrow or next day.

I've been having the same problem the past couple of days and marav's suggestion fixed things for me.

Yes, it seems that marav's suggestion worked. Thank you, all.
