konqueror Error
I'm new for Linux.
I'm running Slackware 10.0 distribution
I run netconfig to config my networking and when I wan brows the LAN I get this message

The lisa daemon does not appear to be running
In order to use the LAN Browser the lisa daemon must be installed and activated by the system administrator.
*********************
Haw to I now if this daemon is instilled and is running?
If I don't have what I need to do for install and activate for running
Whit thank you for help

You want to have access to a Windows Lan is that?
You need the Lisa daemon you can find it there

alternitavely, you can just type in the locatiion bar
smb://<ip-address)
as in
smb://192.168.0.5

Alternatively to this alternative use Lineighboorhood to mount the smb shares as linux mount points...

Seting for LISA
Yes I want to a computer with Windows and the conection is with LAN Swich is only two computers
I do something like this
In the end of file: /etc/rc.d/rc.local
I edit this

if [ -x /usr/local/bin/lisa ]; then
echo "Starting LISa daemon..."
/usr/local/bin/lisa
fi
************************
End save this
Now I not see nothing no error no computer
