keymap for us keyboard with euro symbol

hi everybody =]
can someone please tell me which keymap i have to put in `rc.keymap` to get support for the euro symbol in the console (currently using 'us.map')...
I haven't found out which setting I have to put in 'XF86Config' to get a euro-symbol when pressing alt+5...
currently using:
Option "XkbModel" "pc105intl"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"

I've tried using xf86cfg but I can't find a suitable option..

just another question:
is it possible aliasing special keyboard-shortcuts to international characters (like getting an ä when pressing alt+a and an Ä when pressing alt+shift+a) because I often have to translate programs and it's annoying to always using KCharSelect or something similar ='(

thanks
