Keyboard Problems: Incorrect characters


having trouble wit my keyboard,

when i want the "@" i have to type " , when i want the pound key i get the frank symbol.

i only had this problem on slack, and not on suse or redhat nor freebsd. whats the problemo or is there a quick fix?

I take it you choose the uk keyboard map when you installed although it doesn't seem to make a difference

The file

/etc/profile.d/lang.sh

Change it to

export LANG=en_GB

completely logout and back in again.

Should help.
