I want to know how to install the kernel source. Please help me on this step by step.

installpkg kernel-source-whatever.tgz

If you want the kernel source, just go to a Slackware FTP in /slackware-current/slackware/k and download the kernel source package. Then you can just installpkg kernel-source-foo.tgz If you want to upgrade kernel versions also (2.4.20 to 2.4.21, for example) you'll need to download the packages for the kernel, the kernel modules, and the kernel headers. It's all laid out in the changelog for slackware-current.

For years, I have been searching for the sacred source of the slackware kernel. Alas, I have found it. Actually, not really. Just couldn't find it. lol

Now I'm ready to get my wifi card working YES! All's well that ends well, with linux! Real Technology, here I come!
