When i boot slack 10.0 with the 2.6.8 kernel i get the message;
VFS: Cannot open root device "303" or unknown-block(3,3)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount fs on unknown-block(3,3)
also are u sure u have the correct modutils ,mod-init tools packages for ur kernel upgrade
also does slackware 10.0 cmoes woth a standard 2.6 kernel or a 2.4 kernel
i have the info you want to know, but only one problem. It is stored on my linux drive, and i cant acces it from Windows. And i cant copy te file to the windows-drive because its "read-only"
Did you build your file system into the kernel or as a module... if a module you'll need an initrd.img to load the filesystem prior to loading the kernel
