Hello
Today I have recompiled my kernels for about 15 times because of strange problems. And after that, I removed all the files that I don't need. This includes also kernel-headers kernel-generic 2.6.7 from testing from CD2. I recompiled 2.6.8.1, 2.6.6 and 2.6.9-rc2. And then finally I tried to compile 2.6.8.1 and here's the things that i gave me:
Code:
root@darkstar:/usr/src/linux-2.6.8.1# make menuconfig
HOSTCC scripts/basic/split-include
In file included from /usr/include/linux/errno.h:4,
from /usr/include/bits/errno.h:25,
from /usr/include/errno.h:36,
from scripts/basic/split-include.c:26:
/usr/include/asm/errno.h:4:31: asm-generic/errno.h: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [scripts/basic/split-include] Error 1
make: *** [scripts_basic] Error 2
When I install kernel-headers-2.6.7-noarch-1 everything is fine. But I wonder why is this happening, because before I installed kernel-headers-2.6.7.... I was able to compile the 2.6.8.1 kernel and no err messages came out.
Thanks in advance
