Smile kernel compilation error


hello everyone,

I replaced a few files in the kernel source after copying to /home/suma/linux .That is a few files in the drivers and include folders of the source.After doing the make bzImage it gave the below pasted error.That is undefined reference to disable_console_blank in the kernel.o file.Can any one of please help me out as soon as possible?I have applied the patch to the slackware 10.2 ver.

Would probably be usefull to know what patch it was you applied. Unless you really really mean you straight up copied a file to your linux sources... in which case the result you get is entirely expected.
