Kernel bug in Slackware 13.37

Hello
I have a problem with my brand new system on Slackware 13.37.
it is running with default Kernel (2.6.37.6)

Machine:
Intel E3300
Gigabyte EG41MF-US2H
HW Raid controller: Intel SRCSATAWB

Uptime at this moment is 3 days, and system is really unloaded.

I had problems with Slackware 13.1 with default kernel. Than i put there Kernal 3.0.3 and in overal it was warking fine (but I didnt try to test it for a long time). Now after Instalation of 13.37 i had problems again.
Memory is 100% ok. It passes 10 loops of memtest ~5h

It may be a kernel bug. It looks like it might be ext4 related.

HI there Kean

I have the exact same board as you with 4G ram , and stock kernel , I have no problems ,

I had a kernel panic once when I selected the wrong mode for the SATA controller , legacy or something I think .

Regards

LAwrence

H_TeXMeX_H: how can i check if such issue was reported earlier?

zasavage: I think, there can be problem with file system and my RAID controller.
I'll try to put there Kernel from 3 branch... the newest I have 3.0.3, but kernel.org is down so I can't download newer.

Searching 'BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at' brings up tons of hits. Many are not resolved.

You can get the latest kernel from github:
https://github.com/torvalds/linux

It might be hardware related like you said.
