Kernel 2.6.9. No Network.


On Slack 10 I am trying to install the 2.6.9 kernel. I can boot into it and everything works except the network. I compiled every driver I can think of as a module into the kernel. I don't know what to do at this point.

What does ifconfig output?

ifconfig just shows the loopback device "lo". If I do "modprobe /dev/eth0" I get "device not found".

Okay, I fixed it using "make oldconfig".
