kernel 2.6.9: high CPU load when burning cd (ide)
 

Hello,

after the 2.6.9 upgrade there where many problems (nvidia,k3b, ide-burner,usb2-burner)... but many happy ;-) hours of configuration (especially with my usb2 burner) and all problems are solved.

The only problem left with 2.6.9 is burning to my ide-burner (usb2 burner works fine). Even the old ide-scsi emulation (kernel 2.4) was better. Maybe i should use kernel 2.6.7 forever (no problems at all).

Any ideas?
