kernel 2.6.16 and ip_tables probs

hi there,
i've just upgrade my kernel from 2.6.15.5 to 2.6.16
but i've got these errors on boot:
Code:
FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.
iptables v1.3.3: can't initialize iptables table `filter': iptables who? (do you need to insmod?)
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /var/lib/mysql
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.
iptables v1.3.3: can't initialize iptables table `nat': iptables who? (do you need to insmod?)

Yes, the netfilter layout in 2.6.16 has changed. Try again, you do have to manually configure the netfilter section.

Yes also double check other settings as well. The processor type will probably need to be set.

ChangeLog-2.6.16

Try running make oldconfig with your 2.6.15.5 config file then run make menu/xconfig after that.

if you use old config open it and delete IP: Netfilter Configuration settings
after this di:
make menuconfig
find the Netfilter section and select what you need
