kernel 2.5.69 usb keyboard?

Well, I recently updated to 2.5.69 (beta) kernel straight from Mr. Torvalds himself (aka There are a few keyboard odditties, mainly that the keyboard randomly doesn't react well. For example, if I hold space down or another letter, it continues to repeat infinitely (or a very long time...) and occaisionally it will handle the keys out of order (like I'll backspace, type a character and then the backspace will eliminate the character I just typed). This only happens in these cases, but it is fairy annoying. BTW, I know it's not X because it happens before I load into only guess is something with the kernel...and oh yeah, this is a USB keyboard.

--P.S. -- I have tried compiling the kernel with USB HID (human interface device) on FULL, that just made the keyboard not work at all

You know 2.5 = development and shouldn't really be used ... expect bugs and unexpected behaviour in these released ... up to hardware malfunction if not used correctly!
