Keepassx

I've just migrated from Slackware 14.1 to 14.2 and as part of the process migrated from KeePassx 0.4.4 to KeePassx 2.0.2.

Got a number of issues with KeePassx 2.0.2 namely -

The message box, for 2.0.2, to enter the master key is a bit on the large size especially as compared with what it was like with 0.4.4

Once successfully logged in to Keepassx 0.4.4 there where three panes -
  1. a left pane that contained a hierarchy of groups
  2. a right top pane that contained all the entries for the selected group
  3. a right bottom pane that contained the notes for the selected entry in the right top pane.

In 2.0.2. what's happened to the right bottom pane?

In 2.0.2 if I view/edit an entry I can find no way to get back to the navigation page. I have to close keepassx and start again. Similar problem when I try an change a setting.

Has anyone else experienced these problems?

Alex

The interface has changed a bit.
When you view/edit an entry, you have to click either "OK" or "Cancel" at the bottom right of the window. Are those buttons visible for you?

Hi coralfang

Yes those buttons are present and they make it so simple. No idea how I missed them!

Thanks

My only complaint is that you used to be able to click on a www. link and it would open in the default browser. Now you have to highlight and paste (2 mouse clicks, oh no!). All in all a good deal of improvement though IMHO.

I had the same complaints about 2.0.2. I don't too much like the layout still.

I just went back and got 0.4.4 from the 14.1 files and still using that.
