kdm login?


hi,
just installed slackware 12, so far so so good. i have a stupid easy question though. how do i get kdm to start up on boot, i dont know what to edit in the /etc/inittab file.

thank ya in advance.

inittab file changes

Hinarz,

open up inittab and find the section relating to # Default runlevel
it looks like this

# Default runlevel. (Do not set to 0 or 6)
id:4:initdefault:
it's close to the top of the file, have fun!

oh thank you so much to both, i have a printed out version of the slack book from a couple months ago somewhere around but i couldnt find it, be sure to read it as soon as it pops up.
