kde4 themed mouse pointer changes to a black ugly one

Hi there! It's not probably slackware related because i've seen kubuntus kde does the same - i use custom mouse cursor theme, it's fine but when i pick up a file in folder view or dolphin mouse cursor changes to a black non-antialiased pointer reminiscent of an old X mouse theme.

Has anybody seen kde4 retaining correct themed cursor when picking up a file from file manager? I've googled it but probably with weak search terms because i haven't found any info about this issue or how to fix it.

Create a file at ~/.icons/default/index.theme with the contents

Thanks, i remember having done something like that in kde 3.x, but unfortunately this doesn't seem to make a difference in kde4.
