I upgraded to KDE 4.2.4 and now I can not switch to another user.
With "Switch user" I get a window with the name "QuickSand", in the window icon with text "New Session" but it does not anything.
Is that a bug in KDE4 or what is the right method for it?

Are you running current with KDE 4.2.4 ? If so then you need to start runlevel 4 for the "switch user" functionality. It works great. Searching here will find how to do this if you are unsure.
You could try to rename local kde settings directory ~/.kde so upon login kde creates new one with default settings. Or create a new user and login to see if Switch User feature is working with default settings.

Of course I'm running in 4 runlevel but the "switch user" function doesn't function on my Slackware.
Why "of course " ? I said you had to START in runlevel 4 - not 3. I.e. Boot up into KDM not run "startx" from the cli. There are two distinct ways to start KDE and one of them won't work with switch user. If, however, you boot to KDM and still fail then it's onbviously somerthing else causing the problem.
OK, you are right I was not exact, I booted in KDM with runlevel 4, but the problem still persists.
But now I have another problem, I upgraded mesa and other packages (radeonhd) and now I can not login, I get only black screen. I mean I have to install slackware-current once again.
Thanks for the help and sorry for my bad English (I'm from Hungary).
