KDE Setting LOST on power cut, help :D
Late night we had a power outage. My slackware box which was running shut off.
When I started it again , it asked me to run e2fsck on my root partition which I did. then restarted. When I finally reached KDE, It seemed that I had lost all the personalisations. My default browser, my themes , color options, wallpaper , date and time settings ... everything! Anyway how could I bring it back? and how can I backup all of these , in preparation for a future outage? |
Your configuration is stored in the ~/.kde directory, so you could backup that one to restore your configuration later on.
