It should lead you to a directory containing ooo.SlackBuild and a directory called slack-desc (full of slack-desc files).

ooo.SlackBuild has the necessary instructions in it on how to run it to convert the OOo2 file into nice, proper Slackware packages.

The answer to the "dense" question is a resounding yes. Thanks.

i have a problem with the responses to my previous question i`m a complete newbie to the whole linux thing. i know next to nothing about the prog lang. the last thing i command lined was format and fdisk in dos 5. before that i wrote primitive programs in C=64's basic 2.
in order for me to get through my crisis of rescuing the trashbin on FC4 KDE desktop and cleaning up other cache stuff is to get simple MS windows style progs and commands like rpms that work like exe's and simple console commands like poweroff to shut the system down without logging out and reboot which does as it says. windows simple stuff. as far as i know i have full admin power so should be able to do stuff i just need the commandline EQ of "empty trash" which sadly don't work.
HELP unga bunga me cave man need my speak how to do's
thanks for your time
plz respond soon again
