KDE 4 Device notifier disappears after clicking on show desktop or workspace applets

Another problem in my Slackware current with kde 4.2 is when I click on device notifier to show de list of device connect, if I click in show desktop or in the show workspace area. The list of devices disappears and never came back again.

Anyone with same problem?

I tested this and yes, i have the same problem.
Would you write a bug report at bugs.kde.org, if this is not already mentioned there?

Hmmm, that weird, never noticed it before.

Same thing happens on Slackware64-current as well.

Click on Device Notifier icon in taskbar. While the information is displayed, click on the Show The Desktop Icon. Device Notifier widget no longer works. This occurs with effects on and off. You have to remove the device notifier, then re-add it.

It happens with all applets. If you click on application launcher and click on show desktop or in the workspace applets, the application launcher also disappears too.
I think it occurs with all applets.

KDE 4.2.4 isn't robust enough for this kind of use, yet.
That was the reason I said in another thread that KDE likes gently users.

Anyone could report the bug?

Not the best bug report ever, but: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201973

This is no reason not to use KDE4, imho.

Hello,

it looks like the bug is fixed in KDE 4.3.

But:
I dont really understand you. You are flaming that kde is not good enough for you because that little thing and after that, you are not willing to vote for the bug.
