( http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...694/page2.html

you said it wasnīt important. But... now it is a 13.1 made off in a diferent compiled form, all right!!!??

I don't understand what's the problem. I didn't make any changes to slackware-13.1 packages, so don't expect any changes in the behaviour of those. Read carefully this thread before any complaints. If you find a bug which is NOT described here, please let me know.

I'm testing kde 3.5.10 in both 13.1 and 13.37 system and understanding that I need change /rc.d/rc.4 only in 13.1 system, but not in 13.37.

Can I use new kde 3.5.10 for slack 13.37_v2 on slack 13.1 kernel 2.6.33.4 system?
Probably not, because 13.37 uses glibc compiled against newer kernel headers. EDIT: probably not, because it uses newer glibc, of course :-)

By the way I downloaded diferents arquives, then I think there is:
a) kde3.5 -> 13.1 and;
b) kde3.5 ->13.37 compiled using another kernel and glibc and NO functional in 13.1

The prefix in make-i18n-packages.sh should be changed to /opt/kde3 instead of /opt/kde

Wait a minute, that was four Slackware releases ago! There is no way I can remember THAT!
