Cool kde 3.2 beta 2 rules

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. The kde3.2 beta2 is not only increadably stable (minus a few quirks here and there) but It is increadably nice.

There are even slack packages for it.

just an fyi, you guys might want to try it.

Can someone list the improvements/additions to it or provide a link??

Not really worth it while it is still in alpha phase if it just looks nicer, IMHO.

omg its nice (coming from a diehard gnome user)

some things i have noticed.

1. on the fly monitor resolution changes
2. loads A LOT faster compared to previous kde releases
3. change splash screens on the fly
4. much nicer printer configuration
4. much nicer network configuration
5. kicks ass!

well, slackware uses .tgz's

so just download the .tgz's go to the console, and type:
installpkg blahblahblah.tgz as root.

Well..."rpm's and shit" is about the easiest thing on earth, impossible to be n00bish there. If you feel that way, perhaps you shouldn't (yet) be messing with alpha versions of a GUI you're probably depending heavily upon...just a thought.
