KAudioCreator Missing playlist creation

Hi,

I've noticed with both Slackware 10.x and 11.0 that kaudiocreator no longer has the ability to create play list as it 'rips' the audio from a CD.

After much searching and not much in the way of anything informative, plus posting a bug report on the KDE site quite some time ago, I'm still no further to the true about where the play list creation functionality has gone.

According to the KDE docs KDE KAudioCreator Docs it should still be there!

Am I missing a dependent app which results in no playlist creation functionality being displayed? Or have the docs not been updated.

Admittedly this is a minor problem with the software but when you have an entire CD collection to rip it becomes a pain to create the playlists manually.

If anyone can suggest a way to resolve this I would be hugely appreciative.

Regards

Toby

This sounds very odd.

I don't use KAudioCreator, but for a function to just disappear is very odd.

Hi,

Ive never had this problem. Have you tried updating the program or installing the newest version?

I've not tried rebuilding but then I have tried different versions of slackware. Using (originally) Slackware 10.0 everything was fine, then rebuilt machine with 10.1 functionality disappears, didn't really have the time to investigate further and decided to wait for Slackware 11.0 (hoping it would be fixed by this release) and still no way for KAudioCreator to create the play lists as it goes :(

Which version of Slackware are you using? Do you have KAudioCreator installed and if you do does it have the playlist functionality described in the KDE docs?

Thanks in advance.

Toby
