K3b will not start

I'm sure it's just me, but I can not get K3B to run at all on Plasma 5 / KDE 5

I must be missing something, I get no errors, the little logo pops up and then disappears.

Anyone else having this issue? Or am I merely special?

Thanks in advance

I tried running K3B from command line and got the following error:

k3b: error while loading shared libraries: libwoff2dec.so.1.0.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hello,

The package woff2 is missing and maybe others (ex. brotli which is required by woff2). You should check here that you have all required dependencies. If you're using slackpkg+, the command below should install the missing packages :

Code:

$ slackpkg install ktown

SeB

It's a font library. You will find that in AlienBob's ktown repository, in deps.

But be sure your packages are all in sync, and you have any compat packages

Thanks, I solved the problem by reinstalling "ktown" - sometimes ya just have to : )

Thanks again.
