I'm running slackware 9.1, updated to current, kde 3.2.2, xfree 4.4.0, kernel 2.4.22 on a athlon xp 2400+, ecs k7s5a, and radeon 9100. Now that that's out of the way... i've been doing some kernel re-compiling lately trying (though it seems rather futile) to get some decent 3d acceleration working. Now, i've finally gotten everything but the acceleration back to working order again, but i've run in to an interesting problem with kde. Basically, the right 15 to 20 pixels of the k menu are not being drawn. Strange? i think so.

i'm sort of a n00b, but i have been able to compile my kernel and set up all my hardware by poking around these forums enough, so i'm not totally ignorant either. any advice would be appreciated.
