JVM in netscape

Dear all,
When I visit webpages using Netscape 7.1 that contain java applets, the browser asks me to download a application/x-java-vm plug-in. However, I already have J2SE 1.4.2 installed on my box, so is there anyway to teach Netscape to use that JRE instead of having to install a separate one?

I tried added the helper application for applciation/x-java-vm and telling it to open with '/usr/lib/java/bin/java'.... but it still doesn't work.

khtse
any help would be great =]

Do this step:
1. go to /usr/local/netscape/plugins/
2. link it with j2re
type ln -s /usr/java/j2re<version#>/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so

It will work
