JFS users couple questions
Hey, I am going to do a new Slackware install on a Laptop and I was thinking of trying JFS as the file system. I haven't previously used JFS before, but I had heard that JFS is a good choice for laptops as it takes less CPU usage. My question for JFS users is have you found that you notice a difference in battery life running a laptop with JFS over say ext4 or XFS? I know that one drawback to JFS is that it can not be shrunk but that isn't too much of a concern as this laptop will hold Slackware only.

I'm using JFS on my laptop and don't have any problems. I haven't noticed much difference in battery performance, but I get good error handling from JFS on the very rare occasions when the shutdown doesn't go smoothly.
