ISDN modem - slow transfer...
Hello there! I have a problem with my modem connection - with ISDN modem (there is a word about ISDN PRO-TA modem - 3COM). It works great under win2000pro (connects with 64000 kbps) - transfer arround 7.4 kb/s. But there's a problem running ppp connection on linux slackware (8.0, kernel 2.2.x). There's no problem setting ppp script and so on (PAP). When I start ppp connection it is done in about 3s and everything's ok.
But when tranfering data: upload - maks. 1kb/s, download arround 2-4 kb/s. On win2000pro as I said transfer up/dl is all the time arround 7 kb/s. I tried setting bps speeds from 57600 to 115200 and this didn't solve mentioned problem. I use one B channel not both. What's wrong? How to solve problem?
I also use IP masquerading and filtering (in rc.modules ftp option is enabled...) for win2000 machine...
