Keep in mind that's only the number of people that want to use Patreon. PV will still receive donations via PayPal and snail mail from other users/supporters/anonymous allies.

PS: Jeremy, I'm not on Windows
You may have set your browser to lie to other websites....
Can you see the 'Start' button in left lower corner? When you press it can you see "My Computer" icon? Maybe your parents lied to you that this is what Linux looks like...
This may be silly, but it is now part of my email signature. Hehehe along with the FSF donation site. Yay!
I still use PayPal because I don't want to sign up for a new account. If it were on Liberapay I would use it, but for now I'm just going to keep sending my monthly contribution via PayPal.

I'm going to sign up for a Patreon account next week. I also will continue to use paypal(I will pay for my download of Slackware 15.0.).

The problem with lying is that it's hard to keep your stories straight. For instance, setting your browser to lie to a website by claiming that you're running some version of MS Windows may result in LQ thinking that you really are running MS Windows when you post here.
God knows that I've mucked with my browser's User-Agent string to fool some damned poorly-designed website back in the day.
EDIT: Just like I've mucked with Firefox on Slackware just now to get it to report that I'm running Slackware versus some generic version of Linux. \o/

LOL, i think it is from a user agent switcher I used in the past...It's strange though because if I add a useragent.override with correct Linux string it still reports as Windows NT, if I switch the user agent switcher back on it reports as Linux....
