Question Is this Patreon account legit?

Yo Pat, is this really your account?

(Yes I know this is in another thread, but just wanted it to stand out).

*Update* Yep, it's legit.

I suppose the question is getting hard to avoid.

That said, PV's style is to let things be known when he's good and ready. Some of us think it's legit, some don't. Time will tell, as it always does.

I think PV underestimated the astuteness of Slack users and our willingness to search the galaxy for a way to keep the sails full. Perhaps, we arrived an hour early for the dinner party and the host was still getting ready.

LOL, I recall Eric, in another thread, estimating 2,000+ users. Of course no way to know for sure....

Actually, I stumbled across a rather interesting link earlier today which gave all the operating systems accessing Wikimedia in June 2015. It's not comprehensive, sure, but it's the only link I've ever seen that goes some way to giving a realistic indication of distro popularity.

Must have been subscribers to the old store he was referring to then. Which makes alot more sense.

My guess is he is putting together some kind of formal announcement which will bring together something more than a forum/facebook post...
We can only speculate though...
Is the Facebook post enough for you guys or are you going to wait until Pat posts here?
